Diversification is a bedrock to business. It is a term commonly used for farms and estates, but it is not exclusive. A wide range of businesses operate in rural areas, and they continually need to adapt to deliver flexibility and generate income. We have advised and delivered wide-ranging projects including retail, food and beverage, leisure and entertainment, renewables, Use Class E, tourism, and residential development. The projects have diversified clients’ businesses and enabled them to become economically and environmentally sustainable, and in many instances become local and regional champions where they nurture a significant numbers of employees via skilled and vocational jobs.
Our services include site appraisals, constraints and opportunity planning, EIA Screening, planning and architectural project co-ordination through to community engagement, submission and onsite management. We often work with BCM’s rural consultancy department providing advice on wider issues such as leases and payment terms.
