Harry smashes it!

Further success for our Architecture and Design team

BCM Wilson Hill are delighted to celebrate the brilliant achievement by Harry Parkinson (Winchester Office) of passing his MArch Part 2 last month. This means that Harry is now a RIBA Affiliate and is well on his way to becoming a Chartered Architect. We are hugely proud, not just of Harry’s achievement, but of the way in which he has established himself as an incredibly creative, collaborative and thoughtful member of the team.

About Harry

During his Master’s in Architecture, Harry focused on rural architecture, developing skills to create functional and artfully designed structures that are also environmentally responsive. He focused on understanding the unique characteristics of rural settings, including local materials and community needs. His work emphasises innovative, sustainable design solutions that enhance functionality while preserving natural beauty.

BCM Wilson Hill

Harry joined BCM Wilson Hill in 2022 and has particular interest in rural architecture after working for multiple practices across various sectors in the southwest since 2015 and becoming a RIBA affiliate in 2023.

Having completed his BA (Hons) Architecture degree in 2012 and MArch Part 2 in 2024, he remains focused on becoming a Chartered RIBA ARB Architect in the next couple of years.

Personal Highlights

Harry comes from a family actively engaged in the property field, with notable contributions to both commercial and residential real estate sectors. Along with architecture, Harry has a deep involvement and understanding of ecology and a worthy network within the local area.

Harry says, “I am a countryside person. If I am not working on designs, I will be out playing golf, shooting, cycling, or walking the dog”.

“I love working for BCM Wilson Hill, as it allows me to express my creativity while specialising in rural architecture. Being part of a team that is not just supportive, but kind and warm as well as sharing my passion for nature and rural life, makes every day fulfilling. It’s rewarding to know that our work is having a positive impact on our rural areas.”
